MEMORIALS, GIFTS, AND DONATIONS
The Library accepts monetary
donations for the purchase of Library materials in memory of or
in honor of individuals. Bookplates are placed in the books on
request. Notification is sent to the family of the deceased or to
the honoree acknowledging the donation.
Gifts and memorials of $250 - $499: for each
contribution in this range a 1.5 X 3 inch plate will be placed on
a perpetual plaque using the wording specified by the
contributor.
Gifts and memorials of $500 - $999: for each
contribution in this range a 3 X 3 inch plate will placed on a
perpetual plaque using the wording specified by the contributor.
The plaques are located in the entrance of the library.
The library wholeheartedly appreciates the donation
of like new or gently used current titles. However, we cannot use
any book that is out of date, dirty, worn-out, or smelly.
TEXAS CAPITOL COLLECTIBLE
ORNAMENTS
The library sells the Texas Capitol Collectible Ornaments for
twenty dollars each. Profits from the sale of ornaments support
the programs of the library. A new ornament is released by the
Texas Capitol each October. Please call or email the library if you would like
to purchase an ornament for yourself, a friend, or a loved one.
They make great gifts!

Would you like to get the latest best sellers? Or, just get the
latest novel by your favorite author? And…Share those
literary loves of your life with others in Collingsworth County
?
You can do it!
By adopting that author for the Collingsworth
Public Library you get the new book you wanted (at a lower cost
than you can get it through a store or even on the Internet). You
get to read it first and when you are done with it we will store
it for you until you want to read it again. Oh yes, while we have
it we will also share it with other library patrons! They'll know
you wanted them to read it because we'll put a donation note in
the front of the book. We'll also put your name on the new
arrival bulletin board! If you are interested, call or email the
